On Love...

10/20/2008 11:58 AM

The truest form of love is not a feeling, though a feeling almost certainly accompanies it. The truest form of love is a gift of yourself -- a promise -- from one person to another, and the lifestyle by which that promise is honored... the lifestyle by which that promise is lived out.

Movie Review: Quarantine

10/14/2008 03:03 PM

For the past two weeks, I've been really excited about seeing Quarantine. I didn't know much about it when I decided I wanted to see it. Actually, from the very first trailer I saw, I knew I had to watch it. From the second trailer I saw, I knew I had to watch it opening day.

“I Saw You Standing Here”

09/26/2008 06:43 AM — Years ago, I had a dream. Not the sort of fairy-tale experience your brain comes up with when you are asleep, but a type of dream that seems much more far-fetched – that seems much less possible. This dream was born in my heart.

I'm Sorry, Windows. I'm having an affair with Mac OS X.

09/19/2008 09:18 PM — So... I made a brave, and rather scary step, for any Windows developer. I partitioned my system hard drive and installed an HFS+ partition. Hide Navigation Bar 1.0

09/04/2008 03:18 PM — So after spending some time surfing the Internets, google-ing for the perfect way to hide the Mozilla Firefox navigation bar, I finally broke down and made my own extension.

All Scripture is God-breathed . . .

08/21/2008 12:20 PM

I want to answer some questions concerning the Bible and the Scriptures that have been raised by some people in my life recently: What are the scriptures? Where did they come from? Who wrote them? Why are they here? How can we know they are the written Word of God? What are we supposed to do with them? What will they do for us?

Update: The Dark Knight, The Apartment

07/21/2008 11:40 AM — So, Friday, me and CJ went to see The Dark Knight after we moved some stuff to our new apartment. It couldn't have been a more perfect evening. So anyway, Heath Ledger NAILED the part of the Joker. NAILED it. And if you haven't seen the movie yet, leave wherever you are, right now, and go see it. Immediately. It's well worth it.

Using Firefox 3.0 On Vista? You *need* the Glasser Extension

07/01/2008 07:38 AM — So... yesterday I stumbled on this awesome extension for Mozilla Firefox 3.0 running on Microsoft Windows Vista. As in the screenshot above, it very simply turns the "Toolbar" area of Firefox (with the back/forward, refresh/stop, home, and print buttons) into the transparent "glassy" mode controlled by Vista's Aero theme. Which is totally cool and you need to have it now. Now.
