<a10:content type="html">During the national debate surrounding the overturning of Roe v. Wade, I noticed an interesting biblical connection that I have wanted to write about ever since. For Christians, this connection sheds light on why Scripture speaks so strongly about the value of human life. If you are not a Christian or a Jew, what follows may not carry much significance for you. But you are welcome to read it anyway.</a10:content>

You&rsquo;re asking a man to speak for God, which is a daunting if not dangerous task. &nbsp;<strong>But what if I told you we actually have a series of letters from the Lord Jesus Christ &mdash; God Himself &mdash; that specifically answer this question? &nbsp;</strong>The briefest answer is &ldquo;Yes and no.&rdquo; The harder part is discerning the &ldquo;Why?&rdquo;</p>

The Origin of Satan in the Hebrew Bible

Who or what is Satan, according to the Hebrew Bible? If you grew up in church, the answer may shock you. Not to say that many of the church's teachings are completely wrong. Rather, it would be wrong to think they are complete. The Hebrew behind our “Satan” is haasatan, which is pronounced “hah-sah-TAHN,” and means “The Opposer.”

Where does the Bible say Jesus is 100% man and 100% God?

I recently was "A2A" (asked to answer) a question on Quora: "Where does the Bible say Jesus is 100% man and 100% God?" I’m taking “man” to mean “human.”

The answer is, it doesn’t. At least, not directly.

It does, however, say both, but in very Jewish ways and not really together like in one place. As a result, the important aspect of answering this questions is to explore both claims, which has to be done separately. Interesting note, there are a few places where these separate claims actually *are* connected.
