"Let us fall more in love with you"

Well, this past week has been interesting.  Had a great time over the weekend ending the lives of thousands of zombies with good friends.  Wayne opted for the melee tactics brought by a samurai sword, baseball bat, machete, and a chainsaw.  I opted for guns more, but finally relented to smashing heads with an electric guitar.  It was quite fun.  Left 4 Dead 2 is a cool game, I must say, but I don't know that it can sustain the hours of entertainment that Counter-Strike brings.  Left 4 Dead is a little too team based and mission based for the random playing you usually find online.  But in small parties or teams with people all in the same room, it is perfect (and a blast!).

Sunday evening, I made it home in time to throw some clothes in the laundry, take a shower, and head to church for our city-wide worship service that is held on the last Sunday evening of every month.  This month, the service was recorded for audio sales, I know.  From the looks of the platform, it will probably be available on DVD also, but I can't be sure.

Listened to Misty Edwards on the way to work today.  Her worship music is beautiful.  ;)

Got another IRCd running Friday for the IRC network that I co-administrate (TheZone IRC Network).  I haven't had my own server there for quite some time, but was sharing a hub server with Syber.

Wrote a prayer letter last night.  Every once in a while, I find it helps to write God a letter as opposed to simply praying out loud.  It helps to organize my thoughts, desires, and priorities.  It also enables me to keep track of the requests I have made to see the goodness of God when He does all I've asked Him to do.

I miss playing tennis and racquetball.  I have thought about a gym membership to lifetime again so that I am able to play racquetball.  Trouble is, there isn't really anyone in my sphere of the world that likes to play regularly (ever since Drew went to college).

I plan to write here more, even if just as a journal for my thoughts.
